Dr. Peter Lachiewicz, D.O., provided information to the June Women In Networking about "Gardasil-Cervical Cancer Vaccine". Gardasil is the only vaccine that helps protect against 4 types of human papillomavirus (HPV). Gardasil may not fully protect everyone and all types of cervical cancer, so it is important to continue routine cancer screenings.
Women In Networking gives area women an opportunity to network and socialize with other area professionals. The monthly program is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce Education Committee and is available to members and nonmembers of the Chamber.
Reservations are being accepted for the next monthly WIN luncheon program on Thursday, August 13, 2009. Dr. Whitney Holsopple will present information on Podiatry. For information or reservations contact Tami at 937-548-2102. |
