Legislative Luncheon

The topic of the 2008 Legislative Luncheon sponsored by the Darke County Chamber of Commerce was “Regulatory Reform – Improving Ohio’s Business Climate”. On Friday, September 26, 2008, a group of 75 employers, Chamber of Commerce members, local Economic Development leaders, and other members of the public met at the Greenville Country Club to talk about their experiences and ideas for how best to improve the business climate in Ohio. Ohio Senator Keith Faber and Ohio House Representative Jim Zehringer reviewed individual ballot initiatives and fielded questions from the audience. It was a very informative session with the opportunity to get information from people who are directly involved in our government issues.
