Darke County Community Improvement Corporation

The Community Improvement Corporation of Darke County, Ohio was organized in 1971 “to advance, encourage and promote the industrial, economic, commercial, and civic development of the County of Darke, and the municipal corporations located therein”. The Darke County CIC meets monthly and is responsible for directing economic development efforts of the Darke County Economic Development office. The board of Trustees includes representatives from the public and private sectors of all major communities of Darke County. The Darke County CIC is a 501c4 organization with authorities allowed under Title XVII, Chapters1724 & 1702 of the Ohio Revised Code.

Darke County Economic Development

Darke County Economic Development (DCED) is the organization charged with economic and business development in Darke County, Ohio. The organization was formed in 1995 by the Darke County Board of Commissioners to encourage business investment and job creation and retention in the county.

DCED can assist your company with Site & Building Selection Assistance, Information and Assistance on Business Incentives, Grants and Tax Incentives, Assistance with Industrial/Business Expansion, Labor Force Information, Community Profiles and Other Community Information, and Financial Assistance.
