  • Create and fully utilize a modern One-Stop" center to facilitate and support local business expansion and new business recruitment activities
  • To develop a county wide PARTNERSHIP that implements important strategies to ensure our collective prosperity
  • Build on increased momentum in Darke County to ensure expanded employment opportunities and the quality of life we currently enjoy

Marketing/New Business Recruitment

  • Aggressively promote Darke County as a viable business location
  • Significantly increase the growth of quality jobs and capital investment within Darke County

Existing Industry Support

  • Ensure that a county-wide business retention and expansion program is successfully executed throughout Darke County
  • Promote a stronger business environment by facilitating expansion efforts of local employers while stimulating new local business expansion and job growth

Workforce Development

  • Establish a Workforce Development Council to form a stronger linkage among educational and training providers with the Darke County business community
  • Encourage workforce skill assessment for local companies to ensure adequate curriculum and training programs

Small Business Support

  • Foster support programs to encourage small business owners and entrepreneurs to locate and grow their enterprises in Darke County
