The Darke County Chamber of Commerce is closely monitoring the progression of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Please note all chamber events have been canceled until we are told that it is safe to hold them again.
COVID-19 has already impacted many of our business members. The health and wellness of our members and the individuals that live in Darke County is critically important to us, so we want to provide the latest guidelines and information. Our goal is to minimize the impact on our community by looking to our public health experts for guidance related to COVID-19.

SharedWork Ohio is a layoff aversion initiative for businesses aimed at curtailing unemployment during economic downturns.
Interested businesses must submit the names and the hourly schedules of employees to be uniformly reduced. JFS will then compensate these employees with unemployment benefits. Employers can find more information on eligibility here.

Supporting Workforce Needs in the Agricultural Sector - The U.S. Department of Labor and U.S. Department of Agriculture announced a partnership to facilitate the identification of domestic and foreign workers that may be available to fulfill critical U.S. agricultural sector workforce needs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
