Human Resources Council

Connect. Learn. Share.

The Darke County Chamber of Commerce HR Council brings together local HR professionals, managers, business owners and others responsible for their organization’s people.

HR Council meets quarterly for in-person roundtable discussions focused on the issues employers are actually dealing with. Meetings are designed to be conversational and practical, with opportunities to learn from local professionals, share experiences and connect with others doing similar work throughout Darke County.

What to Expect

Each quarterly meeting will focus on a timely HR or workplace topic, with plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions. Topics may include employee retention, recruiting and hiring, workplace culture, benefits, employment law, difficult employee situations, leadership, workforce trends and more.

You don’t have to have “HR” in your job title to participate.

If you deal with employees, workplace policies, hiring, benefits or people management as part of your role, HR Council may be a valuable resource for you.

Statement of Mission & Purpose

  • To establish personal and professional communications between human relations personnel within commerce and industry.
  • To share growth oriented and problem resolution successes and ideas in “roundtable”.
  • To provide a forum to address human relations issues and concerns of mutual interest.
